How curly is it?? You could go with the wimpy way and get it chemically straightened, but I would suggest dyeing it really black and getting it so curly that it sits on your head like that one guy from boy meets world. Let it grow out longer and do whatever it likes, and that will make you quite emo.

hard question i am part black so its hard to do anything but not that much and my grandma was italian with curly hair so i jnow hhow you fell umm.. this sounds weird but straighten it with a sedu wow it works or any kind i guess blow it dry and then strighten it

difficult question....
invent a new emo craze
scrape down the front bits and plaster them with gel (use straighteners if uve got them)
then(if your hair is short) ruffle up the back with wax
thats all i can think of :S sorry
or just shave your head and become a 'hard nut'
(ps - the emo craze will pass soon enough so i wouldnt worry too much about it if i were you!)
