I want an emo hairstyle, But I dont know what to tell my stylist PLEASE help, Pictures inside?

~~~~ im making this again because people are saying I should get choppy layers or get it thined out.~~~~



which one? thined out, choppy layers or both? heres a pic of my hair when its straitened (with a flat iron) about 8 hours after I straitened it.

1.Choppy Layers



2.Thined out



3. Both choppy layers and thined out.



4.How much should I cut in the back in order to spike it.

I think you should work with your waves honey!!! A hairstyle will always be better if you work with you hair texture instead of against it. You defeintly want to have it thinned out a little b/c it seems like you have a thick head of hair. You will also want layers to work with the waves. To be able to spike it in the back, it will have to be pretty short 2 to 3 inches max. You will want to research a good stylist in the area that can do emo/edgy styles. Not all stylists have been trained to do such cuts. If you find a good stylist, they will be able to help you more than anyone choose a style, b/c they will understand what will work with your hair type. you will also need good product recomendations. you will need a good texturizer (I like Fudge brand) and have the stylist SHOW you how to style your hair.
