What should I do with my plain brown hair?

I have brown hair/eyes, heartshaped face. My skin is kind of light and I have to color in my eyesbrows b/c there so thin. My hair is thin and shoulder length with long bangs. I tried to dye it lighter 2mths ago but it washed out %26amp; i didn't really like it. I'm getting my hair cut in a week and like the emo hair with layers and I want shorter bangs. What should I do? and if I were to color or high/low light my hair what should I do. I really am leaning towards blondish.

I always say go with whatever color you were born with, I was born blonde so I either highlight the hell out of my hair or i bleach it and get lowlights. Get highlights, tell the lady you want to be blonde and want tons of highlights, then every time you get highlights it'll get blonder and you'll look gorgeous. Also get bangs that you can wear straight across because they look adorable even w/ hair up you can put them to the side a little bit w/ some hairspray, it'll be hot. Good luck honey! I'm in the same boat, getting new short bangs this weekend and highlights for my mousey brown locks. If you're going for emo why not get some dark red underneath (or even black if you can pull it off) blonde on top with red underneath looks so cool on young girls!
