i have tha emo hair look now but my hair in about 1 inch shorter in the back than the rest of my hair (3 inches) whiich is fine but.... idk how i should spike it in the back. It is wavy and curly and should i straighten it then like push it all up with gel or what? maybe some pics

use spiker.from joico..(blue tube)...it is very thick and very affective to keep your hair spiked in the back....redken also has a very good product to keep the spike....i'm having trouble remembering the name but a salon will direct you to it.....
